An amazing honeymoonWe stayed here during our first time in Boston. The room was lovely, spacious, immaculate and had a wonderful view. It was just around the corner from great shopping and historic sites. We loved Boston and this hotel!! more
My husband and I were looking for a quick, one-night stay in Boston. Priceline provided a great price for the Hyatt Regency, one block from the Boston Common. We had an above-average experience,at a great price for the location. The block that the hotel is on isn't terribly picturesque, situated at the end of Downtown Crossing, but it's within walking... more
3night stay for a University graduation. Location downtown which has convenience benefits and downtown negatives. Not 5th ave NYC downtown..more like city core ambience. Something that is beyond the hotel's control. Close to Boston Commons and the tour and bus information centre. Walking distance to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Half a block to the T(subway). Washington Street for MOR... more
Staff were nice enough, rooms were normal, but nothing special. European feel to the hotel. Very strange hotel. Seemed that no other guests were there until 2:30am when were were awoken by our neighbors "bedroom" activities. Common areas were empty. Had a hard time finding the check-in desk, the pool, the door to the outside, the door to get back... more
I was visiting a friend in Boston and she recommended the Hyatt Regency Dowtown. It ended up being a perfect choice. Close to so many of the things I wanted to see and do. I was walking distance from Faneuil Hall, Charlestown, the North End, Boston Commons and so much more. We went out to eat at a couple great... more
This hotel is not great, but good. I took the advice of another reviewer and asked for a quiet room with a view. We were given a room on the 20th floor. The room was very clean with a very comfortable king size bed. The bedding included a feather bed and down comforter. The hotel staff was somewhat hit or... more
If you have money to burn the hotel is great but in my opinion not worth the price. The price was ok about $215 a night. Valet was EXPENSIVE I think it was $60 a day. Cabs are easy to access. If you stay here you will have to take a cab for most of the attractions I think it... more
The downtown Hyatt was located great in the center of downtown Boston. We walked everywhere, never taking the subway and only taking a taxi to and from the airport. The hotel was very clean, they had doorman at all hours of the day. The staff was very courteous and the concierge gave excellent restaurant recommendations. I would recommend seeing a... more
Let me start out by saying that the hotel is beautiful, but the staff and the neighborhood ruin it. I stayed at this hotel for five nights for a business function held in the hotel. Early in the week some of our business supplies were stolen out of the room assigned to us by the hotel staff. We made management... more
We stayed at the Regency the night of a mid-week showing of a musical at the Opera House. The location was perfect for our needs. It had begun snowing during the show and walking only a block to our room instead of having to deal with the torturous ride home was sheer bliss. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and... more
