Shelter Island is a pleasant location for smaller meetings and Humphrey's Half Moon Inn has been around awhile. Very clean hotel and grounds. Attention to detail is important to the staff. Chief Concierge was the best. Humphrey's Restaurant has good food at a reasonable price for the area. Liked the ability to print boarding passes before leaving. Beautiful location and only 15 minutes away from many tourist areas. more

Booked last minute and was a little worried when the reservation came in. This was a great deal though, excellent room that looked like it had just been remodeled. I was there for a conference around the area. When we got to the hotel, our rooms were not ready for check in because our reservations were not until the next day. Nonetheless, the front desk staff worked diligently to get us a room despite not having a reservation. more
