This inn was disappointing, and overpriced for what you get. The location is OK -- close to Saint Emilion, but there isn't anything to do in Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac -- you would have to drive for dinner or any sightseeing. The bed was fairly comfortable, but there was only a divider separating the bed from the bath and toilet in the room... more

We stayed in this beautiful and charming chateau for 2 nights, and I'd love to go back. Totally different from anywhere I had stayed before - each of the rooms is different (I did have a little peek in all of the unoccupied rooms) and wonderfully unique. We had dinner there the first night - and I'll always fondly remember... more

We miss Michel already - we had such a great time at Chateau de Courtebotte. This is the place to stay if you want a real, French country wine experience. It is just outside of St. Emillion, in the best part of French wine country. Rent a car or scooter if you plan on visiting wineries and the area. Everything... more
