Loved the Hotel Alexis! My boyfriend ad I stayed here two nights in June and loved everything about it. Upon check-in the staff was very friendly, got us into our room early and gave us a walking map of downtown. The room (king bed) was small but nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed was the best! SO comfortable. We just melted... more

Like other reviewers, we found this to be a charming hotel. Location was very convenient to Pike's Market, wharf and museum of modern art. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did have some issues with valet, as other reviewers had. We did not try room service, so cannot comment on the price. We did have breakfast one... more

My daughter and I just returned from an incredible three night stay at the Alexis Hotel. We had a fabulous time! The staff at the Alexis were wonderful. We arrived 2 hours prior to check in and were met at the bottom of the stairs by a hostess from the Library Bistro who carried our suitcase up the stairs and... more

I stayed here on business and found the location easy to get to and leave for the airport. Room was well appointed, with large windows facing an office building 50 feet away... but the curtains worked. My room was fairly small, while others in my group had huge rooms. I did not give this hotel a higher mark because of... more

The Alexis is in a wonderful location. Close to anything you would possibly want to do in downtown Seattle. Just a few blocks from the water front, pioneer square and pikes place market. The space needle and big shopping areas are a tad bit farther of a walk but absolutely doable. The front door staff was very helpful when asked... more

WOW! What a fantastic stay. This hotel is perfectly located, we walked almost everywhere from there. The rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. I was offered and accepted an upgrade and had a fabulous suite for my stay. My whole family stayed there before a cruise and each of the 5 or 6 rooms were decorated differently and shaped differently,... more

All I can say is FABULOUS!! I stay in at least 6 hotels a month and when in Seattle I will never stay anywhere except the ALEXIS from now on. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the inside is GORGEOUS!! From the moment we entered we were treated like royalty..at some higher end hotels the staff have... more

There is a cleaning fee if you smoke in your room.. the fee is $250.00, the hotel has mis-understood a recent law in Washington state banning smoking. The law does NOT apply to hotel room's and a $250.00 cleaning fee is rediculous. All hotel's should accomodate ALL guest type's and not be in the UN-hospitality business but the hospitality industry. more

Thank you for your response to your recent stay at the Alexis Hotel. Please note that the Alexis is a completely non-smoking which was a decision made independent of the recent Washington State law banning smoking in public Restaurants and Bars. We stayed at the Alexis Hotel in mid-May and found it to have a great location as well as being very clean and updated.
