Except for the FACT that it is neither Downtown or on the Riverwalk it has a great name. It should be named between the DITCH and the OFF RAMP, behind the WENDY'S. This is a farce and a lie, why Day's Inn allows its name to be used in this way is beyond me. The rooms were filthy, there was... more

Booked here by mistake due to the similarity of the name with the other Days Inn in San Antonio. How this hotel can claim to be near the Riverwalk is beyond me. I thought I would give it go as some reviews need to be taken with a pinch of salt. However, I checked in and found the rooms to... more

This hotel is tired, old, and pretty inconvenient to the Riverwalk. Our first room had a shower which didn't work properly, and when we complained, the owner fought us and then tried to put us in a lower-grade room. The location is bearable if you have a car, but it is between an interstate and a railroad. more

Stayed at this hotel over Labor Day weekend. The rates were jacked up because of the holiday but that's to be expected. However, the room smelled awful and my friend had a problem with allergies while staying there. I've seen from other reviews that she was not the only one to experience this. Also, the only thing they cleaned up... more

All of the other reviews of this hotel are 100% correct!!!! This place lies! It has named itself the Downtown Riverwalk.....yet, it is on the TOTAL outskirts of downtown and nowhere near the riverwalk. How can a hotel get away with that. They trapped me into a "no refund" policy that wasn't told to me on their site but showed... more

The most horrible place especially since I paid $100 to stay. 1. First of all it was no where near the riverwalk itself. The name is very misleading. 2. It smelt horrible. 3. The bathroom floor was sticky. 4. The towels were paper thin. (which is to be expected however) 5. The showers didn't work. 6. The phone wasn't working... more

We stayed here because somehow Days Inn booked our reservation at this motel even though we requested Days Inn Alamo/Riverwalk. Got to our room to discover that the bathroom floor was sticky, don't think anything had been cleaned and the chain lock was broken. Also the motels seems to be in a bad part of town and they put us... more

The continental breakfast was great although tables fill up quickly, so you are left milling about until someone leaves. Rooms were very cramped with too much furniture. Sheets did not fit the beds and they continued to come off the bed. Our kiddos woke up sleeping on the bare mattress!! The worst part of the whole stay was when we... more

Let's see, it's right off the freeway & the railroad tracks, so you don't get much sleep. Calling the neighborhood "rough" would be an understatement & calling the rooms anything but disgusting would be a lie. more
