The location is good, but this is the only positive point. The negative ones are: 1. Dirty! The suite we had was nicely decorated and confortable, but had TONS of spider webs everywhere, the A/C was full of dust and the stove had sticky buttons and smelled terribly when we used it. 2. There is a warning in the kitchen... more

We chose this hotel because it was the closest place to the Sequioa National Park without being right inside it. Contrary to most of the other reviewers, we really liked the place (and we are quite picky)and the price was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the drinking water issue was not a problem because bottled water was... more

Nice hotel, good air conditioning (very important, it's quite warm here). Breakfast not included, but for the price you pay, it's a good hotel. more

Just spend one night there, and it was enough. The check-in personn was not super warm, the room smells, there were hairs on the shower wall... Plus every ground floor rooms (which is most of them) don't have a door, but a sliding windows in glass, so you can't have your curtains open or every one sees entirely in the... more

We (me, my wife and our 4 kids) stayed two nights. Very friendly staff. But the water was declared undrinkable by the local health department. We had the "bridal" suit. It was clean, but it smelled and looked more like the "dead grandma" suit. You can't get much closer to the Sequoia park except for staying inside the park. more

We booked in advance and stayed here for 3 nights. We named the room the 'pocahontas suite' as there was a lot of brown suede and dried flowers around, but apart from that, it was clean, comfy and close to places to eat. It isn't far from the Sequoia Nat Pk entrance but it does take about an hour to... more

This was a decent place to stay while touring Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The rooms were smaller and the construction style reminded me of dormatories in college. But they were clean and the bed was comfortable. The accommodations were nothing special, but were a throughly adequate place to spend the nights. The price was reasonable too. The staff was very... more

When we arrived at the hotel we were happy to be greeted by such nice and helpful staff. The front desk staff helped us plan our entire trip into the park for the limited amount of time we had. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. We even had a wood burning fire place! I would definitely reccommend this hotel... more

My family and I recently took our yearly family vacation (including our dog Ginger!) and stayed three nights at Sierra Lodge. We were very pleased with our time there. Our room had a full kitchen and a fireplace! The room was very clean and spacious. The decor is very warm and cozy and we loved the fact that they allowed... more

I've already told Sierra Lodge's management that I'm not interested in false accusations, so I temper this review with an explanation that I can't prove that my immediate experience after I left the hotel was caused by my experience at the hotel. I have to say, however, that my concerns over what happened and the way it was handled led... more

Management response from

The water at Sierra Lodge is routinely tested by the Community Service District, and meets all safety requirements imposed by the state of California and the U.S. Government. The stickers mentioned are posted at the request of the U.S. Government, during transition to a new filtration system, which was recently mandated. All hotels and restaurants in Three Rivers is required...
