It certainly wasn't the worst place, but it was very dirty and very old. No updating in our room. However, we booked our room off of Priceline.com for about $70 a night so we didn't expect much. The service was great and the pool/gardens were pleasant. more

The hotel is being remodeled. Some of the rooms on the lower end of the price scale have yet to be referbished. I think the negative reviews come from people who booked the cheaper rooms.
