While staying in Waikiki, I find that condominium buildings are more comfortable--and ultimately affordable-- than hotel rooms. But, in my opinion, Discovery Bay, it is not in the center of Waikiki as it is closer to Ala Moana and the Hilton Hawaiian Village. To some, that may be a bonus.
