Just returned from a short stay here. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, especially when our Hummer proved too tall for their parking garage! We had two rooms and both were outstanding. They were clean and the furnishings were new. The views from both rooms (29th and 32nd floor) were spectacular! It is conveniently located about... more

We stayed from Feb 17th to Mar 11th..This was the second year we have stayed there. The sofa bed needs to be replaced, both times we stayed the couch was in bad shape. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay again. Air conditioner did not seem to cool rooms down like it should have. From Michigan. more

Stayed in the 29th floor one bedroom ocean view suite. The views were breathtaking from every window and from the large balcony! Kitchen was recently done with nice and clean appliances; a big fridge/freezer was a plus. Bathroom was small and old and all the furniture in the suite were tired and worn out. The sofa bed was unfortunately disgusting... more

Just returned home from the Pacific Monarch, the room was clean but some of the furnishing were old. We had 4 people in our room and the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable for the people sleeping on it. We did complain after a few days and they brought up a blow up bed for my sister. When you called... more

The Pacific Monarch location, room size & staff are good but the units that we had were aged and stained. The pull-out couch had tears and was dirtier than any I had experienced before. The carpet and kitchen floor were dirty. There was bird dung on the lamp shade in one of the rooms and the patio door was open.... more

We stayed in a studio with 2 single beds. The air conditioner was in a whole cut into the wall by the head of one of the beds so had to be turned off at night. The mattresses were covered in white plastic whcih made it much hotter and noisier to sleep. Our unuseable balcony overlooked the parking deck. The... more

My wife, two kids and I rented a rear one bedroom unit. It had a good fairly good view. The staff was great and the location etc. is as has been said in other reviews. It is a good location. The unit was old and tired. It appeared to be built in the late 60's or early 70's and the... more

We booked a room here for January of 2008 in early August of 2007, and upon arrival we were told we'd been "upgraded" to their sister hotel, the Waikiki Sunset. We never got further than the reception area. We weren't very impressed with the Waikiki Sunset, so I'm not sure whether it was really an upgrade, or not! more

Aloha ozdanae, Thank you very much for sharing your disappointment resulting from our inability to accomodate you at the ResortQuest Pacific Monarch. Our sincerest intent was to provide alternate accomodations and value that exceeded the ResortQuest Pacific Monarch. I understand now that you were inconvienenced by your stay at the ResortQuest Waikiki Sunset. I apologize to you. Thank you for...

Our stay was great from check in to departure. Had booked a studio but was pleased to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom with a beautiful view. The sofa bed was very comfortable as was the bed. My only suggestion to them would be the air conditioning should be in bedroom also. My friend had a handicap scooter. It was... more

I stayed at the Pacific Monarch last Sept. for a week. It is a condominium/hotel only 1 1/2 block from the Waikiki beach. It doesn´t have its own restaurants but it is surrounded by tons of restaurants and snack bars for every budget. There is a small shop beside the Front Desk for any forgotten item and even some food.... more
