We stayed in Ruidoso for a week and tried a great many of the restaurants. We eventually ate most of our meals at Chef Lupes. The food is fresh and cooked to order. My husband and I stopped in at Chef Lupes for an early breakfast. The place smelled wonderful. I had a mexican breakfast and he had pancakes. Everything was delicious!! A good place to dine while you are waiting for the shops to open. more

Two of us ordered chicken fried steak. Neither of us ate much of it. Two of us ordered pancakes, which looked burned when they arrived, yet the staff served them.
