The hotel clerk recommended Deanie's. We are really glad he did. The food is excellent, the best we've had in New Orleans. Menu has a wide selection. I had the stuffed flounder absolutely the best in NO. The portions are large. Unless you have 5-6 people with you do not order the seafood platter. Litterly it is a mountain of... more

My husband and I tried Deanie's Seafood on our last night in New Orleans. We were seated promptly. Shortly after being seated, a waiter asked us to move table so that a larger party could be sat. Deanie's comp'd our drinks for moving us. It was an unnecessary offer, but we appreciated it. However, we were sat in a section... more

I love Deanie's. Has a sorta diner feel with casual atmosphere, but is spiffy enough to have a formal dinner. Best charbroiled oysters you will ever eat. Spent many an afternoon, picking boiled seafood as well. Can't say enough about their food. Everything is delicious. The dinner samplers allow the diner to try out multiple prep styles without breaking the... more

They serve you crab boiled new potatoes when you are seated that are delicious! We always order the seafood platter and share it and... more

The wait staff seemed very, let me say, uneducated and immature. Unprofessional if you will. The thing that bugged me the most was that they had generic condiments. Have you ever been to a place where they don't carry Heinz ketchup? Because they want to save money? And the hot sauce isn't Tobasco? It's generic? Well, that may be a... more

We arrived at the Monteleone at 10 p.m. after a delayed flight. Tired and hungry, we were looking for fast, filling dinner in a casual setting. Thankfully, Deanie's Seafood was just a few blocks away. At quarter past 10, we were seated promptly without waiting. Waiter arrived immediately. Complimentary boiled potatoes were spicy and surprisingly good. I ordered Crawfish Etouffée;... more

The conceirge at our hotel said we should try this place when we asked for authentic NO cooking and boiled crawfish, but unfortunately this place didn't deliver what we expected. No boiled crawfish, the atmosphere was very diner. had the stuffed shrimp, not impressed. more
