“Warm and Welcoming”

Bramley Guest House

Apr 22, 2008

Upon arrival at Bramley House we received a very warm welcome from the owners Heather and Gordon. They made us feel very much at home throughout our stay and gave us good information and advice about the local area. Strathkiness is a conveniently short journey away from St Andrews and the quiet locality is a bonus.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean and finished to a very high standard. They contained all the comforts of home. A guest sitting room with log fire provides a cosy place to relax. The breakfasts were generous and varied with fruit, bread, cereal, yoghurts and more on offer. We look forward to our next visit.

“Beautiful Bramley House”

Bramley Guest House

Apr 20, 2008

We have just returned from a most wonderful vacation to Scotland. The highlight of our trip was staying at Bramley House. I must begin by saying just how hospitable the owners Heather and Gordon were. I have never experienced 2 kinder hosts who went out of their way to ensure our stay was 100% perfect.
Bramley House is a short ride to St.Andrews in a quaint village called Strathkinness. The grounds are beautiful with off street parking for all guests.
My wife and I most enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, sitting in front of the big wood burning stove enjoying a bottle of wine was just wonderful after a day of sight seeing.
If you are in need of some relaxation you will find it at Bramley House. We had breakfast in bed every morning, and on our last day were able to sleep in late as check out wasn't until 11am. Our room was cleaned spotlessly daily and our fridge refilled with fruit, juices, yogurt, a variety of cheese and other tasty treats. Our bedroom was large and very tastefully decorated, I was very impressed by our large bathroom also. Rooms had irons and ironing boards, hairdriers and a wee scottish dram for our arrival!
I would reccommend this bed and breakfast to anyone, it is an absolutely beautiful house in which you feel immediately at home.
We are planning to go back this year with friends of ours as this is our new 'home away from home'. An absolutely wonderful B&B.

“secluded garden house in quiet village”

Bramley Guest House

5 of 5 stars

Discovered Bramley on driving tour when we noticed a sign in village of Strathkinness. This is a lovely, comfortable inn with about 5 rooms and great lounge area. Hosts Heather and Gordon make it a very pleasant visit. It's a 4 minute walk to a local tavern/pub on the high road with gorgeous views of St. Andrews and the bay! We planned to stay one night but changed plans to stay for two! Wish we could have stayed longer!
