This hotel it is placed 15 minutes away walking from the central station. There is also a train station 15 meters away from the hotel (zinnowitzer), that it is only 2 stops away from FriedrichStrasse. It is a quiet neighbourghood, it has some museums and ministrys around it.
There are some places to eat around the hotel, but I was not able to test it.
The hotel it is a typical hotel of a french chain of hotel. The rooms have a good size, but the forniture it is very "standard", very functional but without style.
The rooms was very silent (I was in the fith floor).
The best of the hotel it is the breakfast, it has a good assortiment of food, cakes, sausages, eggs, orange juice, etc.

This hotel is right next door to the Museum of Natural History. It is a 15 minute walk from the Hauptbahnof (main train station).

Museum Island is about 15 minutes from the hotel as well the Friedrichstrasse U-bahn and S-bahn station. Both this and the Hauptbahnof let you connect to the rest of the city in no time.

Room was clean and more than adequate for a short visit to the city.

This hotel is very comfortable, clean, quiet and centrally located. It is very reasonably priced for what it offers. Its functional modern decor should please any traveler unless he is looking for super luxury or romantic glamor. The staff speak good English and are very helpful.

What an unpleasant surprise at a "moderately priced" hotel. I found that the internet use fee in my room was over $35 a 24-hour day! They had a computer in the lobby for those who object to the fee. It is free - you can wait in line to use it, and lean against a seat support while doing so in the public area near the bar.
