We stayed at the Ibis Malaga for one night last week. It was cheap and cheerful and did the job! The location isn't the best - it's near a main road and towards the industrial end of the city - but we didn't hear any noise and it was a comfortable and clean place to stay. It was also a good base from which to explore the surrounding area.

The reception staff were pleasant and the restaurant food was OK. We were checked in and out quickly.
My only problem was the location map provided. We drove from the airport and must have spent an hour driving around Malaga, going on and off the main roads trying to find the place. I think this is an area that could easily be improved.
