The other rewies were right, this hotel is fantastic. It is located in the best place in Athens, Constitution Square. The staff is really helpfull, mainly, the concierge. The room is spacious and very well decorated. If one day I return to Athens I have no doubt, this hotel will be again my choice.

My family and I have just returned from our stay in this gorgeous hotel. The aspect of this hotel which we all really enjoyed was the restaurant situated on the seventh floor which had beautiful uninterrupted views of the Acropolis. It was lovely to have breakfast here every morning. We had dinner on our last evening and I have ate in many world class hotels but I felt that the food and service in this restaurant was of an extremely high standard and would recommend it to anyone.

The concierge was very helpful in booking trips - he used a company called Key tours and I would certainly recommend their half day Athens tour and trip to Mycenae but would not advise the trip to the islands - it is much better to do this on your own. Take the Flying Dolphin from Piraeus to Poros which is a lovely island. It just takes one hour on the flying dolphin as opposed to two and a half hours on the other boats.

The metro from Syntagma Square is also clean, efficient and easy to use.

All in all a great city to see and a lovely hotel to stay in. I would definitely go back.

Arrived early morning from an overnight flight. Check-in service was excellent, quick and efficient. The hotel is an excellent location and walking distance to most everything.

We had been upgraded to a suite but due to our early arrival it was not ready. We chose to see another room instead of waiting since we were only staying one night. The room was a third floor deluxe room facing Syntagma (Constitution) Square on the front side of the hotel. The room's windows had very thick glass and it was very quiet. The king bed was very comfortable, two chairs, desk with chair, "foyer" with lots of storage. There were very nice amenities/toiletries, robes, and his (black) and her (red) slippers.
A tip if you like showers: ensure you check the bath to see if it does have one as not all of the rooms do. We were given a bottle of wine and later canapes were delivered as part of our reservation.

Service was exceptional and everyone very friendly. While checking in, the concierge noticed us and came over with a stack of maps/tourist information without our asking.

Breakfast was included in our rate where we enjoyed the nice view. Service here started out a little slow with getting coffee/juice, but then was fine. Quite a variety of buffet items to choose from.

At night we received a notice that there could be a protest on the Square at 10:00 a.m. the next morning and could cause a disruption trying to leave. Apparently this is fairly common, however, no protest arrived. They said if it had they would have walked us to the closest area to catch a taxi.

Would definitely stay here again.

Chose the hotel as my father had been billeted there at the end of WW2. It looked grand and had plenty of good reviews, we would not have chosen it otherwise. It not only was as descibred but it surpassed our expectations. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, rooms were out of this world,the welcome bottle of wine and the selection of freshly made cakes every afternoon was a much appreciated touch. The staff,those who met us and stopped the traffic for us to cross the road, those who serviced the rooms, and those who served breakfast were courteous and the friendliest I have ever encountered, nothing was too much trouble ever!! Breakfast, especially the perfect poached eggs on request was a treat to behold, served from the terrace overlooking the Acropolis.Swimming pool and spa area were delightful, made a lovely setting for an afternoon chill out. As was the massage, not to be missed.Definately a hotel we will return to.
