The Radisson SAS Scandinavia is hard to miss in Copenhagen, rising above all other buildings. Building itself is not particularly beautiful, the hotel looks better inside.
We stayed in oriental style rooms on the 20th floor, offering great views of the city and the lake next to the hotel. Rooms are nice enough, offering a desk, lounge chair and nice, soft bed. No safe in room. Bathroom has basic amenities and hairdryer. Ice machine down the hall, and a well stocked minibar. We did get most of our drinks from the petrol station next door, as the Danish petrol stations are fully licensed.
The hotel has a small swimming pool, as well as gym, sauna and massage/beauty parlour. There is also a casino in the hotel. We has the breakfast buffet, which was not included in our rate - a hefty 150 DKK per person.
Only 2 of 5 lifts were working during our last day, leading to massive lift queues during both breakfast and check-out. The staff apologised profusely.
Good and knowledgeable concierge, hotel is 5 minute walk from the excellent city metro system (very modern, no drivers) which is only 2 stops from Kongens Nytorv.
I would rate it as a good hotel, though it's big and impersonal.
