I stayed here for a few days in June 2008. The location is absolutely awesome. You can walk anywhere to any location in the town centre from here. Room was spacious, and very neat and clean. Bed was extremley comfy. Loved the breakfast! The lobby is one of the nicest I've seen.

Staff was multi-lingual, and extremley helpful.

The main reason for staying was tourism in town, and an event at the Olympiastadion. The latter could be reached through walking too, nice!

A well equipped and located hotel.

Wonderful hotel, great staff, go out of their way to help. Breakfasts were amazing, just needed to replenish food more often, but a small glitch. Amazing mattresses! Centre of town, can walk everywhere, staff will fill you in on all the sites, help with luggage etc, just great. You will have a great stay here.

I stayed for two visits in June 2008, once for three nights and then for five nights. This is a great hotel, classy, well-managed, and worth the price of a nice hotel.

The location a block east of the train station is extremely convenient, near all important locations, including the Finnair bus to the airport and the excellent public transportation system in Helsinki.

The hotel seems to have two wings. I was in the more modern addition, which might explain why I was delighted with my room, while other reviews seem less so. It was very large, especially by European standards. The furniture is light and modern, with an electric coffee pot, free wifi in the rooms with a good signal, large bath, hairdryer, etc.

The buffet breakfast included in the room price is outstanding -- a full range of hot entrees (scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.) along with breads, cereals, yogurt, fruit, etc. I also liked the coffee bar service with snacks in the lobby, available 24 hours a day at reasonable prices.

The staff was consistently helpful and polite, with fluent English. If I visit Helsinki again, this is definitely where I will stay.
