Just spent a week at the Henipa and I really think I must have been in a different hotel than the people who have written some of the reviews here. We had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean, comfortable and there was plenty to do. The hotel pool was fabulous - cleaned daily of leaves etc and lovely and warm. The food was good, ok, not like fine dining at the Ritz, but we had some fantastic meals on our AI deal, including some of the best pork medallions I have ever tasted. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and they even dealt with a complaint [not about the hotel] swiftly and efficiently. We were grossly disturbed by a very loud and rude crowd of holiday makers, who took up almost a whole floor on our third night, and the hotel staff were more than accomodating in their attempts to solve the problem - we were given a different room [an upgrade] on a different floor, despite them being almost fully booked, and the holiday party were told that their behaviour was unacceptable, and it stopped.
The local beach [about five minutes walk] wasn't brilliant, it was pebble, but the water was great. A little ten minute walk further down the coast took you to the sandy area, so it wasnt too bad at all. The resort centre is just a 15 minute walk away, however there is a little supermarket within five minutes walk that sells everything you could need.
I would certainly holiday here again.
