The hotel was approx 10-15 minute drive from the airport which cost around 20 Euros. From landing in Salzberg the people were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel reception and bar was very clean and tidy where you were greeted by friendly staff. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was also a lounge and diner with kitchen facilities.

Buffet breakfast was served from 7:30-10:00. They had a wide range of foods and drinks.

I would recommend anyone that goes to Salzberg visits the Beer Garden, climbs up Untersberg Mountain and goes on the Sound of Music Tour.

The apple strudle is to die for!!!!!!!!

This hotel is not worth the money. There was construction going on at the theater that is attached directly to the hotel and every morning at 7am we were awake because of it.

Also, for a "luxury" hotel that it is supposed to be... they didnt even provide soap or any of the little toiletries that hotels usually provide.

The breakfast which cost 12.50 euros a person was below average and definitely was not worth that money, make sure if you book this hotel to get the breakfast included in the price of the hotel.

It was not as close to the center as we thought... about four tram stops...

It wasnt bad...just not as we expected from reading all the other reviews.

We stayed for a weekend at the Cordial Theater Hotel, Vienna and would thoroughly recommend it. The "room" was actually an apartment, with kitchen and sitting room and loads of space, and was so quiet that it was only at breakfast we knew there was anyone else in the hotel.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel was a quarter of an hour's walk away from the city centre, or a few minutes away from the tram.
The breakfast wasn't exceptional but was pretty good and plenty to choose from.
If you want a good place for dinner, ask the staff to direct you to Kristian's Monastri, a short walk away.

I stayed at the Cordial Theaterhotel Wien back in January of 1996 and the memory is still vivid in my mind. I traded my timeshare week through Interval International and was glad I chose this place. Its within walking distance of the museums, subway, park and all stores in downtown Vienna. I took a day trip to Salzburg which I booked through the hotel (they had excellent concierge services). I could have gone skiing had there have been enough snow - but not until the last day of my week-long stay did the concierge announce a skiiing trip. While I was there I vowed to return in the spring - the city is just georgous! Don't miss it!
