I have just returned from Adams after spending four nights there with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday.

Booking
I found the hotel from google and contacted Adam's by email to check availability.

David (the owner) contacted me very quickly to confirm the availability and cost. The booking was really easy. David arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport when we arrived at Malta, which was really convenient.

The hotel
The location of Adam's is great. It's in the center of things, but far enough from the main road not to get woken by traffic etc.
On arrival to Adam's David was there to welcome us.

We loved our stay at Adam's...From day one until we left we felt like we were with family. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. Freddie the Head Chef will keep you entertained at breakfast time with his singing and good company. Andy aka George Michael lookalikee (!) will look after you with his stageshow at Klozet. Karl the bar manager will see you always have a drink, and will introduce you to the new guests as they arrive, as well as supply you with a variety of cocktails!

The room we stayed in was very clean and was cleaned daily with fresh towels being left whenever they were needed.

I couldn't recommend staying here enough. we had perhaps one of the best holidays we've had, which was down to the staff at the hotel, along with the great people we met throughout our stay.

We will be returning to Adam's as soon as possible :-). I wish we were still there.

We spent 4 nights at the Adams and totally enjoyed the experience. Our first 2 nights were in a Premier Double room which was spacious and spotless. I would recommend that David remove the frosted glass from the balcony door so guests could enjoy the view of the skyline. The other 2 nights were in a standard double which was also spotless. It's window opened onto a lightwell but luckily not much sound filtered up the lightwell. The rooms are basic but when all you want is a comfy bed so sleep in after a long day out seeing all the sights than it is perfect.

The location is great. There is a bus stop at the end of the street and it is far enough up the side street to not get any traffic noise. It is a short walk to the restaurants and clubs.

The best part of the Adams though is the staff. David (the owner), Andy, Karl (in the bar), Carsten & Freddy are very friendly and love to have a chat. They are willing to go out of their way to answer any questions, provide information and assistance. Drinks at the bar with them and the other guests made my first visit to Malta a memorable one. After 4 nights were were all fast friends and email addresses had bee exchanged, not only with staff but other guests as well.

I would definitely go back to the Adams and stay again.

“Peaceful and Fun”

Adams

I spent a week at the Adams Hotel in a standard room that was well appointed. The ensuite shower room was wonderful (no trips along corridors for late night toilet use!) and the double bed was very comfortable.

I was so impressed with the level of service from all the staff that I intend to go back for Christmas 2008.

Stayed for 3 nights in a jacuzzi room late May 2008. For the price, €59, it is unbeatable. The 4 and 5 star properties for the same dates was 5-8 times the price at Adams.

Was there on the night of the Eurovision, and it was good fun watching the event in the lobby bar on the big screen.

David takes good care of his guests, and so does his staff as well. Dont expect anything fancy, just plain good accomondation, and a "big bang for your bucks"!

I just returned from a 10-night stay at the Adams. As a solo traveler, I was very impressed with the safety and security of the hotel.

But more importantly, the hospitality and warmth from David and his entire staff was outstanding. I really felt like I was part of the family. Everyone was so very kind and helpful.

The hotel is on a side street in St. Julians close to restaurants and the bus stop. I felt the area was quiet. There is some construction going on in the vicinity, but you will find that all over the island because Malta has a building boom going on. The rooms are very clean. David suggested that I should consider a double room for single occupancy. It was a good idea because I had a little more room to spread out.

Breakfast was a good way to start the morning. There were meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, toast, cereal and yogurt. Freddie is the host at breakfast. It was nice to be greeted by his smile and his cheerful attitude. If you get a chance, ask him to sing (he's very talented).

I used Kevin's taxi service recommended by David. The price is less expensive than if you use the white taxis at the airport. The pre-arranged price is 15 Euro. (If you use the white taxi at the airport, you will pay 21 Euro to get to St. Julians.) Both drivers -Sandra on my incoming trip, and Kevin on my outgoing trip - were very professional and prompt.
