What more can I say...
We arrived at the Locanda Ruscello for a short post wedding break before embarking on our main Honeymoon adventure.

The hotel is small and friendly, the rooms are clean and well furnished, and the views are perhaps some of the best in Limone, if not on the whole of lake Garda.
Breakfast is a simple continental affair and there is no restaurant, but Limone has plenty of places to eat out.
There is also a small bar where you can pick up a beer or a bottle of wine after returning from dinner.

The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from the centre of Limone which is a beautiful little town and perfect for romantic couples.

Paying the little extra for a suite is well worth it! There is no air conditioning in the rooms or refrigeration, but the breeze from the lake makes up for it and you can always ask for ice from the bar.
The room was on two levels, with a seating area, bathroom and large balcony on the upper level, and a bedroom area and small balcony on the lower level. it was very spacious.

In my view the hotel is excellent value for money and I will definitely be going back.

The hotel (and Limone in general) is very popular with Germans and Austrians, we were the only Brits in the hotel - but we were after a bit of privacy and peace so that was fine by me...

If its peace and quiet, coupled with stunning views that you are after, and you want to avoid those package tours in large hotels, with the enforced entertainment and buffet dinners, then this is the place for you.

Great small hotel; easy and beautiful short walk into town center. Staff extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

We've been in the "Locanda Ruscello" 3 times: 2002, 2003, 2005. All the rooms we had were very spacious and lovely furnished. The buffet breakfast is very good (fresh fruits and cake, cappuchino, espresso on demand), in summer you can eat outside overlooking the lake.
It is a little walk to the city centre of Limone (5-10 minutes), the hotel is very quiet, almost all rooms have lake view. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel doesn't have an own swimming pool but one can use the pool of the nearby hotel "Villa Romantica".
The "Locanda Ruscello" is really worth a stay...
