My family and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Locanda Ruscello in Limone, Lake Garda. What a delight! The staff, in particular Tanja, Manuella and Vilma, were friendly and accommodating
throughout the whole week, and made our stay such a lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully positioned, with fabulous views over the lake. The rooms are spacious, clean and airy with all the amenities that you would expect. We were particularly happy with the bathroom facilities and the lovely balcony view. The breakfast, particularly when served on the terrace, was a great experience, especially the home made bread and marmalade! The hotel had a lovely relaxed family feel and this was reflected in the overall atmosphere of the Locanda Ruscello. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough,
and look forward to going back one day!

The service we received at Locanda Ruscello was excellent. The rooms are spacious and airy, and everywhere in the hotel is very clean and well kept. Clean towels, and fresh pillow cases every day, Clean sheets after three days. First class buffet breakfast, with home made fresh bread each day. Friendly stay, who went out of their way to offer us advice on places to visit and restaurants in the locality. Overall we felt very welcome. This is a quiet family run hotel, just a short walk from the centre of Limone. It suited our needs as we did not want entertainment provided, but just wanted a peaceful stay.

We have just returned from Italy and the last 4 days of our trip was spent a Locanda Ruscello in Limone sul Garda on Lake Garda Italy. I cannot give high enough praise to this lovely hotel and it's friendly helpful staff. I would like to praise Manualla, Tanja and Gabrialle her little son who was a ray of sunshine.
The hotel was very clean the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was 1st rate whith home baked good. The location and view is beyond description, breathtakingly beautiful comes to mind.

What more can I say...
We arrived at the Locanda Ruscello for a short post wedding break before embarking on our main Honeymoon adventure.

The hotel is small and friendly, the rooms are clean and well furnished, and the views are perhaps some of the best in Limone, if not on the whole of lake Garda.
Breakfast is a simple continental affair and there is no restaurant, but Limone has plenty of places to eat out.
There is also a small bar where you can pick up a beer or a bottle of wine after returning from dinner.

The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from the centre of Limone which is a beautiful little town and perfect for romantic couples.

Paying the little extra for a suite is well worth it! There is no air conditioning in the rooms or refrigeration, but the breeze from the lake makes up for it and you can always ask for ice from the bar.
The room was on two levels, with a seating area, bathroom and large balcony on the upper level, and a bedroom area and small balcony on the lower level. it was very spacious.

In my view the hotel is excellent value for money and I will definitely be going back.

The hotel (and Limone in general) is very popular with Germans and Austrians, we were the only Brits in the hotel - but we were after a bit of privacy and peace so that was fine by me...

If its peace and quiet, coupled with stunning views that you are after, and you want to avoid those package tours in large hotels, with the enforced entertainment and buffet dinners, then this is the place for you.
