If you want to vist Sydney and see the sights with only a few days to spare this is NOT the hotel for you.
My mistake was confusing Darling Harbour for Sydney Harbour (thats the one with the Opera house, bridge etc).
This hotel is only really suitable for you if you want to be inbetween Chinatown and the very tacky Darling Harbour and we would have moved hotels immediately if we hadnt already paid for it.
The rooms are small, stuffy (the windows dont open) and very depressing.I enclose a photograph of the view !.
It really was like a small dark box and other guests we talked to were equally depressed.
The hotel you want is the Old Sydney Holiday Inn which is a far better hotel and in a fabulous location...lots to do and see..great bars and places to eat.
We compared the prices of the two Holiday Inns while we were there and thet were the same at that time.
Dont make the same mistake I did...DARLING HARBOUR IS CERTAINLY NOT SYDNEY HARBOUR.
