This was somewhat of an odd hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the hotel had quirks. When you turn off the lights at the front door, it kills the lights for the bathroom. Basically you had to turn the lights on in the entire room to go to the bathroom. No late night trips to the bathroom or you wake up everyone. In addition, there were only two lights, quite dark. The room overlooked the monorail, which was interesting, but quiet. The kids enjoyed waving at people when they rode by. The handicap bath was nice and functional, but two towels for four people no matter how nice you were. We also booked three rooms directly through Holiday Inn, which created a problem. There were apparently no double beds for accessible rooms as Holiday Inn stated. This was the reason for staying at the location. Wheel chair accessible means only five steps to your room. This was resolved only after I agreed to pay for a rollaway bed. After 35 hours of travel, you just accept defeat and live with the charge.
The location is outstanding. Near Darling Harbor, Chinatown, 10 minute walk to quality shopping. The location and support staff makes the hotel tolerable.
