I recently stayed at this property for a two week business trip. It is very conveniently located, right around the corner from Darling Harbor. The room was huge, but not layed out very well. The "bedroom" is just an area that is separated by some frosted glass partitions, and only has one tv in the living room. There is another room with a table and chairs betwen the bedroom and the bathroom, but it was kind of useless. It was also kind of odd that I had a dryer but no washer. There also was no dishwasher or microwave. I stayed on the 5th floor and found the property to be quiet and comfortable. The staff was average. The balcony was very nice, and there is a really inexpensive bottle shop across the street. You can get your laundry done next door at the convenience store. They do dry cleaning or bag wash at reasonable prices.
Try Sweeneys for a good Pub/Thai restaurant it is good, just a couple of blocks away.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights leading up to New Year so prices everywhere were steep. The hotel is brilliantly located for Darling Harbour, and the room was very nice - big bedroom, big living room complete with goldfish, good sized kitchen and dining area and large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The room also had a washing machine and tumble dryer.

However, when we arrived the door to the room did not work such that you could not open the door from the inside. We called reception and it took them 15 minutes to come and let us out. They treated us as if we were stupid before finally acknowledging that the door needed fixing. We left the hotel for about 3 hours and returned to change for dinner. When we got back to our room the door still was not fixed. We called reception again and they informed us that the maintenance man had left for the day and they could not move us as the hotel was full. They offered that we could have a walkie-talkie to radio to reception if there was an emergency in the night! We were horrified that this was even suggested - we were on the 20-something floor! After much arguing they called an emergency locksmith out and gave us free dinner in the restaurant. But the service from reception was poor of the following two days as well. They didn't change the bedding when requested and seemed totally disorganised with no customer care skills at all.

Shame when the apartment itself was wondering in such a great setting. They must work on their customer facing side!

Great spot for shopping and sightseeing, everything within walking distance. Very helpful staff.Ask for a room on high floors with a view of Darling harbour. Very nice restaurant attatched to complex.
rooms very modern and clean, big comfortable bed. very spacious for two.

l stayed here for a weekend back in june 2005 my afl team was playing the sydney swans l liked the barthroom of my appartment a nice big spa barth and marble floors and sink but the internet use ws expensive they didnt have many channels on the foxtel the staff was very nice when l had a late flight home when l checked out they watched my bags all day for me the bed was very cozy to sleep in and the place was very clean the cleaning lady would change ur bed sheets and towels very day
