I stayed in the Club Quarters for 1 week in Mar 07 with two business colleagues. WARNING: Construction is going on next door and starts at 7am. If you want to sleep late this is NOT the hotel for you.
The rooms have been updated and the room itself was very nice (I had a Directors Room). See pics
Bath: As always in CQ - small, shower only but functional. Basic toiletries only. No robes.
Room: Directors room also had a small kitchen space - microwave, mini fridge, sink and counter. Small closet and not much dresser space.
Internet: Wireless internet only in the room. They also have 2 computers for internet access in their business room plus you can plug in your own laptop down there (max 2 at a time).
Room Service: No room service in the hotel. You can order in from nearby restaurants - menus are in room. They deliver to hotel and hotel staff member brings to your room. Tried to order but 1 restaurant not open on Sunday and another required a minimum $15 order - I wasn't that hungry.
Restaurant - All CQ are associated with a restaurant on their main floor. They served very small breakfast buffet. I didn't eat there. Lots of other restaurants nearby.
Location: Close to white house, tidal pool., washington monument, WWII monument, Lincoln and Jefferson memorials etc.... Was lucky to hit it at cherry blossom time. Restaurants, shops in immediate area. Felt safe but late at night a bit deserted so I would take a taxi. Take the taxi to Georgetown - very nice area, good for window shopping, actual shopping (pricey brands) and lots of choices for restaurants. DC has some amazing restaurants.
Air / Rail: 20 min to airport by taxi. 10 min to train station. I took the train - about $8 taxi fare one way.
