We have traveled all over the world and stayed in many, many hotels over the years. We have never experienced the quality of service at any other hotel. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. All of the desk clerks were great as were all of the bellmen. They went out of their way to be hospitable and attentive. I can't say enough positive things about all of them...no exceptions. It is a real credit to the management that they have hired such exceptional people. Our suite was very spacious and clean. It's the service that distinguishes this hotel from all others. I recommend it highly and would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I both would highly recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful experience there. Check in was not only efficient but very welcoming! The doormen were always there to make our comings and goings easy and friendly.

The room was great and they upgraded us at no extra expense! It was so nice to find this hotel. Stay there if you get the chance - also easy access to the Foggy Bottom metra and nice neighborhood to walk around!

The hotel itself is clean for the most part, but our room had peeling wallpaper next to marble flooring. The hotel staff was beyond rude when speaking to myself and my guests. (1) Paying hundreds of dollars a night, we arrived to learn that the garage cannot house SUVs, though it was not mentioned on the website or upon booking. (2) Also upon arrival, we had booked a suite for 8 people to sleep, then was informed that the suite only held 4 people and there would be additional $35 charge per person beyond that. This was not conveyed on the website or at the time of booking. (3) Upon checkout and voicing our concerns, the manager of the hotel lied to my face, stating that the room was "trashed" and the carpet needing replacing. This was very untrue. I suggested we both go up together and check out the room, but he refused. I went up and took photos and brought them down to show him, but he wouldn't look at the photos, proof of a boldface lie to collect more money. ...the list goes on and this was the worst staff treatment I've ever received.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for only a weekend (sadly) but this was the best hotel I've ever encountered for the price. I've stayed in other hotels for much more and this one took me by surprise with the living room area, kitchen area, luxurious bathroom, huge bed, etc. The customer service was excellent also. If I am ever back in D.C., this is the place I'm staying. It's right around everything and a short walk from Metro locations and neighboring Georgetown.
