This Hampton Inn was a fabulous experience. The kids loved swimming. The breakfast was pretty good. I only wish there were more healthy whole grain options. Our room was spacious enough for the four of us. Everything was exceptionally clean. We will definitely be back!

I stayed at the Hampton Inn DC Convention Center with my eleven-year-old grandson in March when I took him to Washington for his spring break. It was a convenient location with a good rate for DC. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast area were friendly, helpful, and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable and I felt very safe. Breakfast was varied and tasty. There were several restaurants in the area and the Metro is close by. There is a corner at 6th and H which seems to attract a problem group of people. We simply avoided walking by this corner. We had no problems with hot water as others have had. My one complaint is that there is no release lever in the bathroom sink. I had to put my hand in the water to pull up the stopper. I would definitely stay here again when I bring my other grandson.

We had a wonderful time at the Hampton Inn, Washington D.C., during spring break 2008. The beds were comfy. The rooms were clean. The breakfasts had a lot of choices.

I am really picky and this room was great. I would totaly recommend the facility.

Some items to consider: the room doors slammed shut and we were wakened at 7 a.m.-7:30 on a few mornings.

Hot cookies were offered very day, but went VERY quickly. If you weren't there within 15 minutes of them coming out of the oven, you didn't get any, usually around 7-7:30 p.m.

We had a couple of problems with the wall safe and bathroom lights, but maintenance was there within 15-30 minutes to fix them.

Most tourist stops were within walking distance. We walked about 6 miles per day round trip.

I would stay again in a heart beat.

I stayed here with 5 buddies to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play the Washington Capitals.

The location was perfect if you are attending a sporting event at the
Verizon Center. It was only a 2 block walk to the gates.

As usual, the service and room quality were excellent at the Hampton Inns. I would highly recommend the 29.99 movie package as it provides excellent value and choice for everyone.

The breakfast served hit the spot the next morning before we taxied back to BWI for our flight home.

I would definitely stay here again for a Washington DC trip or family holiday.
