Stayed a couple of nights in early May. It is definitely worth pre-booking the hotel limo and greeting service. Our bags were ready to go whilst we waited in the immigration line, and we were then escorted to the limo suite at the airport to pick up our car. The room was extremely well equipped, and whilst the view wasn't great (other large buildings), the location was perfect for shopping at the Landmark Centre, and access to the MRT and Star Ferry was easy. The MO Bar is a cool place to hang out, and the snacks and cocktails were spot on. Overall the service was very good indeed. Try dinner at Man Wah (upscale Chinese) in the sister Oriental hotel - it was great. Will definitely stay here again...as soon as possible please.

“Great modern hotel”

I recently stayed at a number of HK hotels - here, LKF, and The Four Seasons - whilst my home was being renovated.

I stayed in a L900 suite and, overall, really liked the modern and low-key design. Too often, hotel baths - even in 5 star hotels - are small and shallow, so it was nice to relax at the end of the day in the huge circular tub. Staff were friendly and efficient.

The only thing I didn't like here was the everpresent high volume braying of bankers into their mobile phones in the public areas, but that's HK....

1st stop during our round the world trip, stayed at this 5 star hotel in what they call an L450 superior king room. Very spacious, tasteful decor, big comfy bed, separate sofa & work area with fruit, refreshments & chocs left daily, 3 tv's including one in the bathroom. Amazing walk in shower plus a 2 person tub ! Room has some of the most modern gadgets I've ever come across, great fun. Hotel has excellent spa & pool and even though we did not use, the bar and restaurants looked very nice also. The service & staff are great especially the concierge who are very knowledgeable. Would definately go back.

“Best hotel in Hong Kong”

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental

I travel to HKG monthly. I use to do all my stays at the COnrad, but now stay at the landmark mandarin.

Why I think this is the best hotel in HKG?
1. First class service - if you take the hotel car from the airport, they have someone meet you at your gate (which is great if you are in gates 40-70). The HKIA staff will drive you to immigration, saves a lot of time.
2. They only have brand new S350 or S500 cars which are extremely comfortable.
3. The rooms are very spacious, all have new flat panels and the bathrooms are very cool with a nice bathtub to soak in. I love the flat screen tv in the bathroom!

Yes, the Four Seasons is great, but location wise, LM is much better. I still find the IFC II/FS area to be a bit inconvenient. Vs. Conrad and Island Shang, LM is in the majors while the others are still in the minor leagues.
