The Posada del Puente is located just outside the city centre of Arequipa, overlooking a river. The hotel has very nice grounds. The area around Plaza de Armas with a large number of bars and restaurants is a ten minutes walk away.

My room was rather small but nice and clean. Complimentary wireless internet was available in the room. Various options for breakfast were included in my rate. Dinner at the hotel was very good and rather cheap. The service was excellent. Complimentary shared airport pickup is available.

I would definitely recommend the Posada del Puente.

Stayed 3 nights in September. Had a great room with a big balcony overlooking the river. In the morning coffee on the balcony with Misti in the distance.
Breakfast on the terrace superb location, very helpful staff and a really great place to stay. 10 mins from the town centre or 3 soles by cab.
Food in restraunt superb (and cheap). would recomend to everyone.

I went to my room after dinner and I found my room flooded. The jacuzzi was broken and they took 2 hours until they came to clean it. The customer service was terrible. I ask to be transfer to a diferent room because the carpet was wet, they refuse to do it, they basically told me to get my money and go to a diferent hotel.

Great place. The suites are really good. Down by the river. Good views. Quiet. Nice staff. Only a short walk from the night lfe/restaurants. Really good bar. Only bad thing was an unahappy solo llama on the lawns. Nice grounds.
