Nice Hotel, clean comfortable rooms ,close to beach but that's where it ends.
Very poorly trained staff who do not speak English even in key areas.
i.e. Breakfast tables left uncleared of plates and food scraps, wait 15 minutes for coffee at breakfast, in restaurants and bars white wine and beer served warm when complained beer and wine placed in ice bucket, but when served by waiter water from ice bucket dribbled off bottle over table and meal.
After 3 complaints about airconditioning not working in room where told to open the window.
When checking in not able to swipe open credit card voucher they insist on an amount of 2000RMB being inserted on voucher which, when you spend that amount in the hotel they knock on your room door and ask you to pay the account until you are in credit again to the amount of 2000RMB otherwise they will not restock the mini bar or allow you to charge anything to your room,
I have never experienced this mistrust anywhere else in the world including other parts of China and what makes life difficult is they will only change $100 per room per day at the front desk currency exchange which requires a trip into town to a bank taking up to an hour.
A lot of the facilities have been closed down or not available , most of the shops are empty the mini brewery has closed the hairdresser is no longer in the beauty parlour.
Beware of the seafood restaurant very expensive even by Australian and European standards, 5 times dearer than restaurants just down the road from the Hotel.
Would I recomend this hotel definitely not, however they do seem to cater for the Russian market.
This is an honest account of my stay at this hotel.
