My husband and I wanted a getaway trip from the normal daily life so we planned a one night stay at Trump Marina's Crystal Corner Suite.
Wanting luxury at bargain prices, we went during the off season and during the week so we could afford a suite and a get that "pampered" feeling.
We certainly got it!
The room is just as pictured on the hotel's site! Beautifully adorned with rich marble, gold trimmings and the entire one wall is floor to ceiling windows- making for a great view of the marshlands & Harrah's. You get a great sunset view in this room!
Opening the double doors to the suite you are greeted by the
jacuzzi tub- big enough for four people, and fills up quickly. It is so relaxing. The suite is over 700 sq.ft. and very comfortable.
A bar area w/ sink, refrigerator gives way to the dining area. That wall is floor to ceiling mirrored, but gorgeous. An enormous armoire houses the TV with On-Demand movies and music available. (this was the only part of the room we were displeased with, the movies and music were down from time to time due to peak hours of demand in the hotel)
There is a large couch and chair, a corner chair reading nook with ottoman too. The oversized king bed was incredibly comfortable, only could have been better with some high end sheets. THere is a big sitting bench at the end of the bed. Very quiet room for sleeping, didn't hear a soul that night, and the drapes keep out the sun in the morning- totally dark so you can sleep in!!
Then the double etched glass doors open to a foyer with a closet, and branches off to his and hers bathrooms. The ladies bathroom has a toilet, bideau and tub, the men's bathroom has toilet and roomy-for-two shower. Both bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries, towels and even phones! Vanity mirrors in both and strong lights for make-up applications.
It was a wonderful suite, spoiled us and would love to do it again. Trump Marina staff are pleasant. Our room was ready 2 hours early and we were able to check in right then!
The casino is small but nice.
Hooters, The Cafe, Finestra, a japanese upscale restaurant, and Harborview restaurants were all inside on casino level. Also a buffet available too- for about 14.99 pp. There is a pizza/pasta stop in the lower level as you come in from the parking garage, also a place to buy candies and such.
Its worth a stay & play at Trump Marina!
