My husband and I stayed at the Trump Taj Mahal this weekend and it was fantastic. We had a king size room. We used our military discount and saved $35 dollars on room cost. total $160. Great location on the boardwalk. The table games were $5 between 5am to 1130am. Dealers were friendly all day and night. I was new to playing 3 card poker and even at midnight when the tables were crowded the dealer took her time and explained everything to me even gave me some pointers same thing everywhere we went. Valet, reception, luggage storage, maid service. The staff was fantastic. Even one of the table floor managers went out of his way to get my husband a Trump card due to him not bring his license out the room and only having his military id. We ate at rim noodle and this was fantastic best potstickers we ever ate. We already made up our mind we are going back this summer. Also would like to say the Blue Martini happy hour 5 to 7 at Ballys was the best. Hypnotic Breezes everyone has to try this.

Taj Mahal is over-rated and over-priced. I checked this hotel out before going there. Based on the reviews and the pictures online, I went to try it out. It was a bad choice. I should have gone to the other hotels on the strip. They were all cheaper based on the prices online. I'm pretty sure the service and quality of the stay would have been better or just comparable. Taj Mahal isn't worth it at all. The lamp on the table didn't turn on and the blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work. The light outside my room was flickering which made the hall way look scary and run down. For almost $200 a night, I really expected better from them. The room didn't look as nice as the entrance to the hotel. The entrance had a wow effect and the room was a big disappointment.

Stayed at the Trump Taj Mahal for a conference. The check in took more time than expected with about 10 guests in line and 5 desk clerks on duty. I was, however, given a room based upon my request. Hotel was pretty clean in the lobby and common areas. Hallway for my room's floor smelled fishy because in- room dining service tray was left in the hall with the remains of a lobster meal. Guest Room was very large compared to most hotels. Large flat screen TV, marble bathroom and updated carpet and furniture. Had problems reaching front desk when I could not get internet access-but was finally resolved. Do not waste your time or money on the buffet. Lots of low budget fried foods, limited vegetables, mushy crab legs and tough steaks. Check -out was easy, but getting car from Valet took some time---valet parking was $5...cash only. I would stay again for the room.

We have stayed at the Taj many, many times and have usually had lovely, clean rooms. I have never had one complaint about the rooms or the cleanliness.
On April 20th, we arrived rather late (about 6 PM) and had the opportunity to be signed up by Ann or (Annie). She was so lovely and so helpful and gave us a beautiful two room suite that was complimentary.
I had asked for information about the Steel Pier outside on the boardwalk and she told me to go online and print discount tickets. We will be coming back next week with our grandchildren. I never thought of doing that .
Ann was a terrific person to have greet you when you first sign in. Thanks again for the lovely room!
We ate at Plate that evening. My past experience at Plate was not good. We had to wait a very long, long time for our food. We had said we would never go back. But, we did and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered hamburgers and they were cooked to perfection. The meat tasted so fresh and delicious! Our waitress, Courtney was wonderful.
I have stayed at all the other hotels in Atlantic City. I always get a comp. room. I am given suites many times. I always come back to the Taj. I am treated well.
