This Embassy Suites has just done a million dollar renovation, to public rooms, meeting space and sleeping rooms. The colors and warm and inviting, not your typical Southwest. The fabrics are beautiful along with the art displayed. The lobby is spacious with good seating arrangements. I enjoyed the pool and found it very clean with lots of towels. The breakfast is the best ever, displayed like a five star brunch, cooked to order - what's not to like. Of course you can't miss the evening reception, very friendly folks and tasty drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed my sleeping room, with new bedding, great large desk with ergonomic chair, beautiful lighting, and all new bath fixtures. The rain shower head was really nice. This hotel is right off the freeway, close to the PHX airport. Great value for business or family travelers.

My sister and I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, to attend a college related special event. The hotel was fabulous! The staff was great, the room was very nice and large. We used the swimming pool and work-out facilities. All were very nice. And the hotel was very close to the Airport, the outlet mall, and Scottsdale. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there in the future again.

My family and I have been staying in this hotel at least once a year since 1987. It is conveniently situated for Phoenix and is always clean and well kept. There is a complementary drinks service every night which is very well attended as you might imagine. The architecture is hybrid mexican and painted in attractive pastel colours with a large swimming pool and lawns and gardens.
There is a complementary cooked buffet service that is exceptionally good and is served by the same two ladies that first served me in 1987. All of the rooms are large with a seperate lounge and are well maintained. The staff are friendly and are very helpful in selecting a room. Try and get a ground floor room facing the pool or restaurant then you can sit outside the room on the lawn.

Hotel was OK but very expensive for what you get, paid about £100 with expedia, charged an extra $10 to use the internet. Hotel was OK for about £50 £60 but old fashioned and dated, not what you would expect for a £100 a night hotel.
