tried to get a hotel for peak Spring Training time, this place had the best AAA rates. Had stayed at the Townsplace in Denver and the same good solid stay here, I think Tempe is better. First of all, early checkin before 2pm, choice of three floors. Was explained by Janell, desk clerk, of the evening drinks and light breakfast in the morning. Drinks and light finger food only Mon to Weds, breakfast seven days a week and never seems crowded.
The room has the kitchenette with pots, pans, utencils, plates and bowls, dishwasher, mircowave, a toaster and works. A CVS drugstore is across the street (very busy street, be cafeful crossing) and a supermarket is less than a mile away. I believe there is a hotel shuttle which might drive you there as I saw it pulling away from the Fry's super and I was coming out of the store. The AC was noisy, but other than that, excellent place.
If you want to save money on snacks, take an extra cereal, milk, yogart and sodas during the comp serving and bring it back to the room.
