We arrived in the late afternoon and walked around in the lovely old part of Nafplio looking for a cheap pension. The owner of Isabo Pension was sitting in front of his pension with some friends, and saw us searching for a hotel. He asked us, if we would like to see his pension. It was located in the historical center of Nafplio. The house itself is a very beautiful neoclassical house of the 19th century. His wife has a shop on the first floor, while the rooms are located on the second and third floor. There is not much space inside the house, but it is very original greek. Our room was small but beautiful decorated. The bathroom was also fine. It was very clean everywhere. There is even a small kitchen, that all guests share. The owners were very polite, and we met them every day outside the house. Take a look at their homepage[--]. There is a small local beach only 10 minutes walk from the pension, and there are restaurants on every corner in the historical center. The bakery is only 2 minutes down the street. We only paid about 45 Euros, but it was low season - June. We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to come back.
