What a Schock!!!
I have never stayed at a Motel 6 because of the stigma of it . I must tell you though I had no choice but to stay at the mtel 6 in Big bear one night a few weeks ago and was I ever shocked!

The peopel were so friendly and nice there I thought I was in another world! The place was immaculate! Every inch and corner of this motel that I was in was squeaky clean!!!
The room was basic. but super clean and the beds were comfy!

Even the pool sparkled ! No dirt or leaves or debri of any kind floating in the pool! It was certainly a pleasure to stay here this evening.

There was fresh coffee all the time in the office and the people there were so nice!
If you are in Big Bear and need a place to stay with affordable prices, close to restaurants and shopping then this is the perfect place!
I myself will certainly be back!!

This was the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in, it was clean and comfortable, no frills, however if you want a nice, clean, inexpensive place to spend a couple of nights, this is the place, the only negative I had to say was we had very loud upstairs guest, and we heard them stomping on the floor. but overall, it was a lovely place.

I have stayed at this motel many times and have always found it to be clean and comfortable. It is dog-friendly and very near some great hiking trails. Reasonable restaurants are close by. However, many teenage sports groups use this motel and it can be noisy at times. The staff, especially Brenda, is very helpful and friendly. If you're looking for the Ritz, forget it, but this place is totally satisfactory for a nice weekend or a few days away from the city.

This motel left a LOT to be desired. Granted, it is a lower end motel, but I do expect a clean room. Our smelled so awfully of cigarettes (we got a non-smoking room complete with an ash tray with ashes still in it!) that I had to wash everything in our bags once we got home because it stunk. The blanket was so old and covered in fuzz balls that it was scratchy. The shower was a mist, no pressure at all. The only positive was that our room was close to the pool. I have stayed in many hotels/motels, and this one was very disappointing. Spend and extra $40 and get a room that will give free shampoo if you forget yours! (They referred us to the vending machine!)
