“Loved The Burton Inn”

The Burton Inn

We so enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Burton Inn! The room was huge -- actually it had a separate living room with a couch & love seat, microwave & refrigerator and TV with DVD/VCR. They have a large library of free movies, so we saw 4 movies during our stay (there's no movie theater in Cambria, so this worked out great). The bedroom was spacious with a King bed and another TV with DVD/VCR. The bathroom was large & bright with a skylight.

The free breakfast was a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, breads & pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, cheese, ham, juice, coffee, teas, etc. The dining room was recently renovated & was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed visiting with the other guests & with the owners of the Inn.

The afternoon wine & cheese was really nice. Comfortable furniture, great conversations with other guests and it lasts for hours, so we didn't feel rushed.

We feel we got an excellent value for our money. We paid around $160 per night for our 4-night stay (Wednesday - Saturday nights) .

Cambria is such a cute town. We originally thought we would stay at a place right on the water, but we are so glad that we stayed at The Burton Inn. It's in the East Village amongst all the shops & restaurants. We walked to everything! Next time we go to Cambria, we will definitely stay there again.

“A perfect retreat at the Burton Inn”

The Burton Inn

Having traveled around the world for the last few years, I have seen a lot of hotels, and a lot of service. The Burton Inn comes in as one of my favorite places to stay. The warm welcome is unmatched, and the rooms absolutely wonderful. We stayed in two different rooms, having decided to stay longer last minute. And both rooms were wonderful.

It always suprises me, when people have minor complaints on a place. Such as the bathrooms are outdated (but yet they still had huge tubs, and were sparkling clean). And not that outdated. Whenever you stay at a hotel, there is going to be one issue or another. But with this place, the level of service, the wonderful bedding, and the sparkling clean rooms, it was as close to perfect as I've seen. I will definitely be recommending it, and going back myself. Cambria is a lovely little town, and the inn the perfect place to stay while there.

“Anniversary Get a Way!”

The Burton Inn

Apr 9, 2008

My wife and I stayed at the Burton Inn over the course of last week/weekend. To sum up our stay I would say it was very positive. Minus a few headaches like the bathrooms that so desperately need to be updated and tape on carpet that needs to be replaced the room was beautiful. I would suggest staying in the original house, room #22. We made a move from the first floor because it was right off the main room of the inn.
The Inn keeper, Terry was a joy as well as Annette, the manager and Sophie the dog. The breakfast spread was tremendous every day and in the evening the guests all gathered over wine & cheese and discussed travels, food, wine etc..
Truly a great experience overall and we will stay there again!
