I found the prior reviews to be accurate. My teen daughter and I both liked the hotel very much. We booked the special "movie night" rate. We had Rm. 201, a double queen, corner room overlooking the street. It is enormous, almost cavernous. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the Tempurpedic mattresses. The continental breakfast was fresh and offered cold cereals, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea and breakfast pastries.
Parking is in a garage directly across the street.
The colleges are a 15 minute walk away, but it seemed that Casa 425 is the closest hotel to the campuses. If you drive over to the colleges, rather than walk through the village, we found ample free parking in the campus areas.
