Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, no critters whatsoever. Everything was clean. Good service and good restaurant recommendations from the front desk. Parking seemed safe. We walked to the charming downtown section of Clovis, a few blocks away. The only wierd thing was that even though we paid for 4 nights, several of the rooms we had, mysteriously had a non-functional key on the 3rd day. The manager just shrugged and said it was our magnetic personalities. Cute response, but not helpful. Another thing was irritating loud beeping in the elevator whenever it wasn't standing still.
Our favorite thing was the breakfast. Huge selection including scrambled real eggs, sausages, hot-off-the-iron waffles, 4 types of cereals, 2 breads, muffins, butter, fake butter, cream cheeze, peanut butter, jellies, hot drinks, juices, milk, real half-n-half for coffee, and more. The space was inviting; tables could be pushed together for large groups.
