The property overall was clean and the room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was typical for the hotel brand. We had a room in the front of the building and found the noise from I-15 to be a bit more than we had hoped. The problem was the gasketing for the door to the balcony did not seal properly to the door resulting in a fairly large air gap around the opening side and bottom of the door. We placed one of our heavy bags up against the door to help hold it closed and it helped reduce the noise. The heating/cooling unit had no option for continous fan operation which always helps to mask extraneous noises. We would stay here again but would definately want a room on the back side of the building away from I-15.

We just came home after staying here for a week while our home was remodeled. Nice place to stay...Room was big with a mini fridge and microwave. They had a flat screen LCD TV with the standard line up of channels. 15 freeway is close by, but no traffic noise was heard. As another reviewer stated, breakfast was meager, but I didn't expect much from an "Express" hotel. Staff at the hotel was pleasant and responded nicely to questions. The one thing that was very dissappointing, was the lack of pool, which would have been nice this HOT week. (The pool is waiting for "approval" by the city). Overall this hotel is one of the nicer hotels is the city and I would stay here again if the need arose.

We stayed for two nights in May and were really quite disappointed in the service and the amenities, especially since this is a new hotel. The property is lovely and the rooms are large. The television and remote did not function properly and the major networks were unwatchable because of static. There were two refrigerators in our room, but no hairdryer, a fact I discovered after a shower! The pool was not open and that was a big disappointment after a long drive from AZ. The breakfast is meager with no hot items at all, although the hostess was as pleasant as could be. There is no weekend newspaper and no newstand. When I asked for change for a $5 bill to buy a paper in front of Coco's (1/2 block away), the front desk had none....only $20 bills. I was told I would have to get change at the restaurant.

We found the front desk staff pleasant enough but they could not figure out how to make sure we stayed booked in our room since we paid for one night with reward nights and one night with a credit card. Although they assured us we would remain checked in, we returned late afternoon of the second night only to find we had been checked out and that the hotel informed people who phoned us that we were no longer there. This was quite alarming to our son, who was one of the callers.

To be fair, I must add that the corporate office responded to my concerns and offered to refund part of our reward points.
