“Good value for Disneyland travelers”

Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove

We stayed at this hotel in February and March of 2008. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and a good value for a family of 4. I would strongly recommend spending the few extra dollars to for the made to order breakfast. I think they call it the bed & breakfast rate. It saved us time & money so we could get a good start in the morning. The choices for breakfast were omelettes, french toast, or pancakes in addition to a buffet with fruit, cereal, breads, and juice.

The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. When we found our room's closet door was broken, they moved us to another room with no hassle. The room was very clean and a decent size for the cost. I would recommend staying on the second, third or fourth floors since the rooms are a little large than the first floor.

The one bad thing we experienced was parking at night was very tough. The spaces are small and there are several hotels sharing the same parking area. We drove to Disneyland each day and when we returned we had to circle several times before finding a space we could fit into. There are shuttles that run every 20-30 minutes for a small fee so that is an option.

“A very pleasant stay, with great staff”

Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for most of the month of February. Booking in Anaheim when traveling on business can be nerve-wracking - i had visions of sugar-fueled Disney-bound rugrats running the halls and was just hoping to find someplace quiet and comfortable. The Hilton Garden Inn filled that role very well. The initial leg of my stay was in a king room, which was nicely appointed and appeared to have updated bedding (a white duvet as opposed to the floral bedspread number I later encountered in a queen room.) Despite being rather busy - full parking lot, breakfast room, etc - it was always quiet, which was perfect. During my stay, myself and my fellow work colleagues made many inquiries of the front desk staff - restaurant recommendations, travel advice, etc, and they were extremely capable in handling all of these. The option of a hot, cooked to order breakfast was great - officially it's $10 or so, but it got included into our room rate, so that may be worth asking about - and the pool, hot tub and fitness facilities were also nice to have. All in all, a good value, great location, and a well managed, well run establishment.

“Stay for the Service”

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have had no complaints. Staff is always very nice. Free hot breakfast. The one issue that could have made my stay better was that the hot tub was broken, and I really like their hot tub--it has that fun fiber optic lighting that changes colors. It was unfortunate, but at least they did come up with a solution -- I was able to use the Embassy Suites hot tub if I wanted to step out across the parking lot. Not ideal, but they tried to accommodate and I appreciate that very much! I will stay there again.

“Boring, soulless hotel”

Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove

Just not a great hotel. Very sterile and boring. Not worth the price, considering the Hampton and the Embassy in the complex are virtually the same price. Location is good in the "Hilton Complex" with the other 2, and behind Buca. You can get your money's worth much better at the other 2, though. Don't waste your time.

“Just o.k. Better options at neighboring hotels”

Enjoyed a pleasant stay. Average hotel about 1 mile from Disneyland. Decor of hotel is quite dated. Slow and poor service in their restaurant. I would recommend staying at the Hampton Inn or Embassy Suites both of which are next door and are updated and includes breakfast which the Hilton Garden Inn does not.
