We decided to stay at the Garden Cottage based on the reviews from fellow TA travelers and we, and our California friends, were very pleased with our choice. This location was superb for all we needed to do in LA, and is especially close to shopping and Restaurant Row. Bob was wonderful in coaching us along by phone, step by step, when we got lost on the freeways - they all have confusingly similar names so be careful. We thought we had brought good directions with us, but guess not. Ahuva is a lovely lady who sure can cook a great breakfast. If we get a chance to return, we surely will. The value is excellent and far below the cost of traditional hotels in the area.

I spent three nights in LA in January on my way to Australia and as a single traveller I could not have been better cared for. The accommodation was superb, the breakfasts were just amazing, and Ahuva and Bob could not have been more helpful. This is a real gem of a place, in a very central location, and I felt so safe walking to and back from the nearby Grove, Farmer's Market and Beverly Hills centre. Well done Ahuva and Bob. I will recommend you to all my friends.

As the other reviews state, this is simply a wonderful B&B located in a very central area in LA. We weren't able to book the cottage but we had the garden room. It was still a very cozy room. The bathroom was well kept and the bed was very comfy.

It's also an incredible deal when you consider the prices of other hotels in the general area. Plus, the breakfast alone is probably one of the best we've ever had - very fresh, very tasty - especially the potatoes!

We will definitely be recommending this little getaway to our friends!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Cottage Garden B & B. There is not much we can say about this place that has not already been said. Ahuva & Bob are a charming couple who have put a lot of love and thought into this georgeous B & B. They should be proud of what they have achieved, a home away from home experience. We would recommend this place to anyone travelling to LA. Just remember to take your car to LA.
