We stayed at the Crowne Plaza our first night in Los Angeles, with high expectations because of what we had seen on the internet and reviews on Trip Advisor...though the lobby was beautiful, the staff and especially the hotel room itself were average. The bathroom was tiny to say the least and not very clean and the beds were very hard. Be prepared to pay for the buffet breakfast. We recommend exploring other hotels - the Crowne Plaza is definately not value for money.

I stayed at the Crown Plaza with my 2 grown up daghters for 5 nights 3rd - 8th November. The staff were more than helpful. Really made us feel welcome. We had 2 rooms with connecting doors. Both rooms were very spacious, spottlesly clean and were kept that way by the staff. Great selection for the buffet continental breakfast including a variety of fruit juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bagels etc.
As our flight wasn't untill 9pm we were given a late check out (at no extra cost) of 6pm when our cab was collecting us.
Brilliant safe location. Big Blue Bus to Santa Monica every 15 minutes, 75cents, 2 minutes walk from hotel on Pico Blvd. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Within easy walking distance of Rodeo Drive. We found the taxis very reasonable. Hotel to Melrose Ave $7. You have to remember the price is for the cab not per person.
We used 'Airport Express Limousines' for tansfers to and from the hotel and also for a tour of the star homes. Rony the owner was very helpful and Dess our driver was just lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed his company.
All in all we had a fantastic time and would certainly stay at the Crown Plaza Beverly Hills again & again & again.

Clean high rise hotel on the edge of Beverly Hills. Within walking distance of nothing, but very close to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. Clean, spacious rooms (mine was very noisy and I could see why earplugs were supplied). Parking garage beside the hotel for $14/night ($10 with Priority Gold). Club level is average, and Priority Club breakfast just a buffet with danish, etc. For $100 per night, this hotel is marvelous.

Excellent 3 star hotel. Location close to Beverly Hills attractions. Staff helpful and very nice. Rooms had the amenities of a 4 - 5 star hotel with little extras of lavander aromatherapy bed linen spray, eye mask, relaxation cd to help you sleep, ear plugs, down duvets, 300 count linens. The room was soundproofed. We were next to the elevator, but did not hear a sound. The room was small due to being an older hotel, but still enough room to spread out. The lobby and pool area keep this a 3 star hotel. Check in and check out fast. Arrived early and were given a room. Got a good deal through Priceline. Would stay here again.
