Having an early flight out of SFO to Hawaii, we booked the Ramada near the airport to arrive trouble free and fully rested in the morning. Upon arrival, our room key would not open the door and, in fact, people were already in the room. The room was all the way in the back of the property so we had to walk all the way back to the office. After a lengthy wait, we got another room. When we got to that one, the door was open and it was obviously not cleaned up from the previous guest. Towels were strewn all over, trash was stiil there and the beds were not made. Went back to the front office and was assigned yet another room. This has all taken over an hour to resolve. This room had nobody in it and it had been cleaned. However, it was a smoking room and I reserved a non-smoking room. At this point I was done fighting and we just made the best of it. At check out, I made it clear to the manager on duty that I was not happy and that I wanted my bill to be reduced substantially. They gave me something like $30 off and said I would have to talk to sonmeone else if I wanted more. Of course, this person was not in and I would have to come back. Yeah right! I will NEVER stay here again.

Stayed at the Ramada Limited for a weekend trip to San Francisco, and was generall very happy.

I was concerned about noise, due the proximity of Hwy 101, but this was no issue, even though my room faced the highway. Overall, this is one of the quietest hotels I've stayed in. It was obvious from the crowd in the breakfast room in the morning that there were plenty of other people there, but I never heard a noise from the hallway.

Only negative is that dining is very limited in the area. There's a KFC/Taco Bell a few blocks away, but that's about it.

We found the shuttle between the Inn and the Airport to be very reliable. The room was comfortable and quiet with a pretty garden like courtyard. The continental breakfast included fresh danish, Tropacana orange juice and good coffee. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was easy to take the shuttle back to the airport and ride the newly opened BART to the city.

This is THE hotel from hell. We chose it because it was reasonably priced and only 2 miles from the airport. With our long flight getting in at 9 p.m., we wanted a nearby hotel so we could get to bed at a decent time. Our plane got in at 9, and we got our room at 12:15 a.m! We waited over an hour for the hotel shuttle that comes every 30 minutes. We stopped 2 Ramada airport shuttles and both told us they were not the right one. We finally took a cab. As we waited at the front desk for over an hour to check in, we saw the very same shuttle pull up! People in front of us had been given a room with no walls and no door (this is NOT a joke). People behind us had a room that the key would not open, and the guy behind him had a room that the water did not work in and it was only one bed instead of two. He had been waiting 2 hours for a roll-away bed. When he walked into the replacement room they gave him, he was yelled at by a strange man already sleeping in the bed. We were supposed to have a non-smoking room with two beds. They didn't have one. We joined the guy who was waiting for a roll-away and waited for one too. An hour passed. Neither of us had seen a roll-away. Finally, at midnight, they gave my friend and I an adjoining room without charge. The next morning our pre-programed room card key wouldn't open the door again after I stepped out to the car at 8 a.m. There is nothing they could do to ever get me to stay in this hotel again and I'm now very wary of any Ramada hotels after this experience.
