“Exactly what we were looking for!”

We were looking for accommodations to stay at during the 24 hour Rolex race at Daytona. We wanted a fair priced hotel on the beach so we could spend Thursday and Friday relaxing, but have a place to stay on Saturday night in case we couldn't stay up for the full 24 hours.

The Ocean Court Motel met all of our expectations. Though we wanted a non-smoking room, we ended up with a smoking room. Surprisingly, the smell did not bother us so we did not request a different room. The room was clean, though a bit small. Overall, we were very happy considering the price. It even had free wireless internet that worked very well in our room. It was exactly what we were looking for!

In addition, the cleaning and office staff are very nice people, and we would not hesitate to stay at this motel again.

Once again my family and my self completely enjoyed our stay at Ocean Court. We have stayed at this quaint little motel many times. It is by far our most favourite out of all the motels we have stayed in over the years.
Dave and his sons are fantastic hosts! The rooms are smaller than those in newer motels, but are extremely clean, and they offer all amenities.
All in all I highly recommend this great motel.

Luckily we had only booked for 1 night at the Ocean Court Motel. The room we were given (which apparently was an upgrade from what we had booked so goodness only knows what we could have got) was dingey, dated and depressing. The bathroom had been recently updated and was the best bit! There were 2 tiny windows with plastic vertical blinds blocking out the tiny bit of sunlight there was. The room was clean but for the money I would have expected abit more. The owners were friendly enough but not very helpful. We ate at a seafood place called
Shells north of the hotel which although slightly dated again had good
food. Do not under any circumstances eat at PJ Gators, we popped in for a beer and saw a rat running along the ventilation pipes above our
head.....!

“A fine place on the beach”

This small motel was exactly how it was described by the reviews. It is an older motel, as most beachside ones are, but it has recently been refurbished, and they keep it meticulously clean. Combine the cleanliness with the great rate I got ($52/night-Thanksgiving-Christmas Special) , the free upgrade I got (moved up from motel room to small efficiency), and the friendliness I received from Dave and Andrew, and you get an all around great stay. Andrew, thanks for recommending me to Jess. He gives a great haircut and shave! I hope he can keep things going.

Wonderful place! Going back this year. Dave and Lynda are very wonderful and treat everyone like family. When I was making our reservations for this upcoming trip last Dec, I asked Dave to send me a bag of Daytona sand to suprise my parents with to go along with their christmas gifts. Dave was happy to oblige.
