Great! I love the room decor and the way the room is set up. It's by the mall, but off on it's own long driveway, so it's quiet. Rooms are small, but very comfortable for a few nights stay. Beds are so so so comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly. They also have transportation to the airport and have no problem with you parking your car there for a few weeks, and don't charge you to do so! Has a great breakfast buffet. Always stay here when we travel to South Portland!

Just returned from spending 2 nights at the Marriott at Sable Oaks with my husband and two children (11,15). We found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. We asked for a roll-away bed and they had one delivered within an hour at no extra charge. The wireless connection was complimentary which was a bonus considering we brought a lap top. The pool and pool area were just the right temperature and the hot tub was great. We have stayed in a Sheraton in the area where the pool and pool area where on the cooler side and they didn't allow by 12 year old son to go in the hot tub.

The only disadvantages were due to school vacation week the pool was generally crowded. Also, the floor does get slippery around the pool area since it's tiled. Some rubber mats may be good. One day they did run out of towels but at the end of the day the staff did supply us with some for our showers.

We have stayed in about 3 other hotels in the area and this has been our favorite so far.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in my life and this stay was no different. The room was clean, comfortable, well decorated. Nice linens, towels, toiletries. The room service was great; food good, service very nice. The pool area and hot tub are wonderful. Front desk staff, curteous and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good as was the service and drink we had right before we retired for the night. I would highly recommend this hotel as it has always been consistently a great place to stay.

We just returned from a great weekend stay at the Portland Sable Oaks Marriott. We wanted a place to take our 4 year old granddaughter who loves staying at hotels. We requested an early check in and had no problem getting it. We arrived at 10:30 and were immediately taken care of in a professional, friendly manner by the desk. The room was furnished nicely with very nice bedding. We had a corner room which made it larger than other rooms on the hall. The room was clean and nonsmoking, as are all rooms at Marriotts.

We used the pool twice during our stay and both times it was very enjoyable. The area was clean and well maintained. There was also a fitness room, sauna and whirlpool/hot tub.

We chose the breakfast weekend and had the usual Marriott breakfast brunch which our granddaughter loved. She though the Marriott was very "fancy" and had a great time. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant to her and us.

We told our granddaughter that we will bring her back again next year.
We do recommend this hotel.
