Arrived late - after Midnight and were given our initial room - requested non smoking. Enter the room to find a dirty wet towl on the bathroom deck and extremely fresh water and a multitude of hair in the shower - at 1 AM??? There is only one employee present - who else could it be? Inform this employee at the front desk - not so much as an "I apologize for the trouble". The next room - a smoking room complete with burns in the mattress - has a terrible odor and bugs in the bathroom linen. It is 2 AM and completely useless to complain - Do we want to spend the few hours I have to rest moving rooms incessantly?
Informed the front desk of our troubles in the morning and were PROMPTLY informed that we would receive a $20 discount off our room - the same initial rate we were quoted hours earlier when we first inquired about vacancy. The "PLEDGE" to take care of their customers is a farce and if they continue to run this type of establishment they will soon be out of buisiness - I can only hope. We will NEVER patronize this Quality Inn, or any other for that matter - regardless of the franchisee... Hotel chains need to take responsibility for all establishments posting their corporate name.
