Great Place, set in jungle over looking town and the ocean, very accomodating, short walk to the beach and plaza. room stay includes shade and chair on the beach, very clean and authentic Sayulita.

Sayulita is a really cool town and Casa Duende Vista is a REALLY great place to stay. It overlooks the whole town/bay and is really centrally located to make it an easy walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc... With it's unique open air atmosphere, you really take in the sites, smells and sounds of Sayulita while feeling nestled into the hillside. Mario and Linda are great and will take care of you. They really enhanced our vacation with recommendations, hospitality and charm. I would highly recommend staying here whether you come to surf, fish, relax on the beach, shop, or just cruise around and soak up the culture. NOTE: If you are planning to stay with some friends but require some "privacy", I would re-consider due to the open air atmosphere. If it's just you and your spouse, or just you and some friends, you'll love it. I actually miss waking up with the roosters in the morning.

We had an amazing time. Casa Duende Vista is like a secret tucked away from the busy streets of Sayulita. I highly recommend staying at Duende Vista and it's only a couple of blocks from the beach. The view from here would be unknown by someone staying beachfront. We met many great locals including the owners, Mario & Linda, of Duende Vista. We also ate out for dinner many times while in Sayulita. The food was excellent. If you are taking a taxi from Puerto Vallarta, make sure to look for the Sayulita Fish Taco restaurant. Casa Duende Vista is located just behind it about a block up the hill. Great surfing spot! Beach towels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella were included in our condo rental. Great fish tacos and drinks located just behind our beach spot too. What a fantastic setup. Thankyou!

My wife and I just got back from our stay in Sayulita. Our stay was excellent and we can't thank both Mario and Linda for the excellent hospitality and the great room. We rented a 1 bedroom guest room. It had everything we needed and a great view too. Price was good at $50 a night. The best part of the stay was the dogs - 11 chihuahuas very adorable and they make the stay even that more memorable. Great surf town and great personal service. We will be back your way in the future.
