Spent seven nights in the Wailana (back) portion of the Sunseeker. I honestly didn't even think about the fact that they photocopied me and my partners id's. It was so inconsequential.
As for Eddie... he's a talker, sure. I can also imagine him getting sassy if he's not in a good mood. While I can see how this would be off-putting, it is Kihei and he is the gay. He let us borrow his boogie board for three days and I don't feel as though he was at all intrusive. I've got to give Joe a "shout-out" though. He's really adorable. I had a mean headache all day Monday, and he brought me Advil or something like that.
We only hot-tubbed once on the rooftop, and it was by no means too hot. Granted, our neighbors had been in it, and maybe the heat had time to escape before we got it.
My bed didn't feel like it was too hard, then again I like it firm. Our rooms were well-stocked with amenities we needed and Romie kept it very clean.
I'm not going to try to refute all of the other things that people found fault with. I'm sure that they are justified in their complaints. I just wanted to point out that for the price, Sunseeker was exactly what I needed it to be. Central, clean, and not just "gay friendly" just gay. My partner and I plan to return to Maui next year. We fully intend to ask for Wailana Room # 11.
